Systems

LVT offers custom designing, modeling, testing, and manufacturing of fire detection
and suppression systems to meet commercial, industrial, and military requirements.
The company customizes its high-tech systems to meet customers' specific needs,
tailoring products to meet the toughest conditions.

Detection

LVT's state-of-the-art detection systems are designed to offer fast response with low false alarms. Its innovative linear technology utilizes both direct exposure and distant sensing to identify fire or overheating. The detector senses the fire using a tubing wire routed to provide optimal coverage and monitoring over a wide area. The electronic detector allows for built-in sensitivity switching enabling quick and easy adjustment to local conditions, with no need for special tools or training. The detector, which is suitable for harsh environment and extreme environmental conditions, better tolerates grime and dirt. LVT also supports connection to optical detectors where required. Suppression

LVT offers a variety of different suppression systems to cater to a multitude of needs including the protection of vehicles, equipment, property, and personnel. Each system is customized to meet specific needs and may incorporate different suppression systems e.g. water mist coupled with environmentally friendly nitrogen-based gas for enclosed areas occupied by personnel. Extinguishers or sprinklers are strategically placed to offer maximum coverage of all installations.

Extinguishing agents include multi-purpose dry powders, Halotron, or halon gas for extinguishing all types of fires, sodium chloride powders for extinguishing light metals, carbon dioxide gas for extinguishing liquid and electrical fires, foam or water for extinguishing solid or liquid fires, and more. Command and Control

Offering multi-zone coverage, the high-performance command and control unit connects to the detectors and fire suppression systems. Once the unit receives a signal from the detectors, it activates the fire suppression system. Activation can be undertaken automatically or manually. The reliable and robust system, with proven low false alarm rate, delivers fast response and can support multiple events simultaneously or sequentially. The lightweight, compact, and user-friendly unit is easy to install. Driven by a smart microcontroller, the unit's functionality can easily be upgraded at any time. View our command and control units.
