DELTA, a pneumatic-electronic linear fire detector, uses special signal logic algorithms which analyze local rate of temperature rise within monitored regions to confirm the presence of a fire or overheating. The detector senses the fire using a stainless steel tube routed to provide optimal coverage and monitoring over a wide area.. The detector, which is suitable for harsh environment and extreme environmental conditions, better tolerates grime and dirt. The highly accurate and sensitive system uses two different detection mechanisms: direct exposure and distant sensing.
The DELTA Detector offers a few major advantages as
Fast detection— Detects fires quickly to minimize injuries and damage
Robust structure and durability— Non-pressurized system better tolerates grime, dirt, and extreme environmental conditions
Distant sensing— Identifies fires occurring a considerable distance from the sensor tubing
Adjustable sensitivity— Field-programmable system eliminates effects of local, normally hot operating components and environments
Easy installation— Durable, flexible stainless steel tubing can be routed to monitor large compartments or tight spaces
Low cost of ownership— Offers relatively low cost, maintenance, and power consumption
Cost-effective— One DELTA detector replaces multiple ordinary detector units
